Yes. When you license our program, you install it on your computer, or on your network server, depending on your. needs. You retain full control over the software.

If the need ever arises to stop using HearForm, you can easily export all your data to a .csv or other file to quickly import all that data into a new system. We do not make it difficult for you if you ever want to leave. (Not that we think you will ever want to...)

QUICKBOOKS

HearForm will send Data from the invoice file to QuickBooks Pro 2003 or later. The following data is sent to QuickBooks, eliminating the need for double entry.

• HearForm recreates and posts the entire invoice in QuickBooks

• Line Items are transferred

• Payments are transferred

• A customer is created along with basic demographics

• Check Number is transferred

• QuickBooks sends back the QB invoice number to HearForm

• HearForm allows you to associate the invoice with a current customer in QB or create a brand new customer automatically.

ELECTRONIC CLAIMS

Our competitors were faced with the same challenge that we faced. How do we allow our customers to process claims automatically and yet allow them flexibility and still keep our software affordable?

Most of our competitors chose WebMD as the clearinghouse of choice. That's not a bad choice, as WebMD is the most popular clearinghouse in the US. HearForm goes a step further, by allowing you to choose the clearinghouse of your choice. We have partnered with http://www.ezclaim.com , a HIPAA compliant solution, for your Electronic Billing needs.

"Timesaving software stores all patient information, frequently used codes, and AutoFill libraries allowing the 1500 form to be completed and printed in just a few clicks of the mouse. The program mimics the layout of the 1500 form, providing a sense of familiarity when learning EZClaim. All patient and claim data is stored in a standard Microsoft Access database, permitting users to link their patient and claim data directly with other programs such as: Excel, Lotus and Word. Additional features include both patient and claim templates to avoid repetitive data entry.

Rather than building the cost of the Electronic Billing module into HearForm, we have kept www.ezclaim.com an option ($240 typical use) so that those who do not need EBilling do not need to pay for something they won't use. This savings is passed onto you. TIMS (Online Claims for Audiology) receives a commission from every claim sent in electronically through their software. HearForm bypasses any commission and lets you go straight to the source (saving you a substantial amount over time.)

HearForm will send over 1 to 10,000 patient records (basic demographics) eliminating the need for double entry. Enter patient data once and click a button to send your data to EZClaim.

If you are able to export your patient demographics into a text or database file, we can include your patient data. We would charge an additional $300-$500 for this service depending on how difficult it is. In most cases we can import the majority of your data. We will let you know if you call us first. Some competitive software allows you to export your data easily. (HearForm exports with the click of one button.) It is best to call us with your particular situation. We have made many upgrades where ALL of the data was saved and transferred into the friendly format environment of HearForm.

Each system is different. It is common that the financial data from one database CANNOT be accurately converted into another database. While we can save the vast majority of your data (Names, addresses, telephone, manufacturer, make model, serial, warranty dates, etc..., it is likely that we cannot retrieve your account receivables. Starkey ProHear converted customers typically print out their balance due invoices and take a short time to renter those into HearForm's invoicing system.

We can save chart notes from most all conversions.

It's actually kind of fun to do conversions for our customers, because as soon as you open up HearForm for the first time, you have hundreds (or thousands) of your own patients already in the new database. You can then report on the data using HearForm's included reports.

(If we convert your existing patient data, we will send you a signed 4 page HIPAA Business Agreement, protecting the privacy and security of your patients. If you prefer not to send us your data, we can perform the conversion right on your computer. This way the data never leaves your office. HearForm is designed to "never be completely finished." The very nature of our industry requires constant technology upgrades.

"I have used HearForm software since March 2004 to run the audiology section of our practice. I have been extremely impressed by the level of customer service and tech support provided by that company. Mike Huskey, the programmer and owner of the company has helped us tremendously in getting up and running and ironing out any difficulties we have had. Whenever we have a question he always is available to answer questions and always sets up a more extensive tech support session within a day or two. During the tech support sessions we easily connect up to his computer so he can see and control our computer over the internet while speaking on the phone with us. During these sessions he has spent up to several hours at a time showing us how to use the software, clearing up any questions we have and in many cases, actually reprogramming our copy of HearForm to work more smoothly for our particular usage patterns and preferences. He never rushes us or makes us feel we are taking too much of his time, but instead we get the feeling he actually enjoys having the opportunity to “play” with the computer and help us out. We have never had a session that ended because he cut us off, but always because we have had all the tech support that we can consume at one sitting!

To date we have probably received at least 10 hours of “face to face” (over the internet) tech support from him and I get the feeling he would be happy to do as much more as we needed. This is extraordinary for a software product costing only $2000. While we initially had some glitches related to the fact that we are one of the very few practices running HearForm on a Macintosh platform, Mike went out of his way to get us working as well as any office using the more common Windows platform, even though it clearly took him much more effort than any of his other clients. He made sure we didn’t get short changed because we were “different”. Mike has always been prompt in sending any extra files we need or pretty much anything else within his power to help us.

In my career I have used quite a number of other software packages and never has the tech support for those packages come close to the support we get with HearForm. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable, helpful, available and patient, Mike is one of friendliest and most unassuming guys I have met, and it is just a joy to work with him. Although HearForm is a great software package in its own right, the fact that it comes with support from someone like Mike Huskey makes it at least twice as valuable in my opinion. I know that whatever comes up, I can count on Mike making it right, right now!.

So, needless to say, we are very pleased we chose HearForm as our Audiology Management Software package."

I am very pleased with your software. The program is working quite well for me and I have most appreciated the ability to change it to better fit my needs. I have learned a lot about Filemaker just tweaking Hear Form to do things that I want it to do, which has been as interesting to me as it's been helpful. Really the only thing I am missing to make things easier is a link to Quick Books which will allow me to not have to enter information twice. Your recommendation of Gotomypc has also been very useful as it allows me to do MANY things from home that I would not be able to do otherwise.
