Does does your software reside on my computer?

 

Yes. When you license our program, you install it on your computer, or on your network server, depending on your. needs. You retain full control over the software.

If the need ever arises to stop using HearForm, you can easily export all your data to a .csv or other file to quickly import all that data into a new system. We do not make it difficult for you if you ever want to leave. (Not that we think you will ever want to...)

 

How does HearForm work wih QuickBooks and Electronic Claims?

HearForm will send Data from the invoice file to QuickBooks Pro 2003 or later. The following data is sent to QuickBooks, eliminating the need for double entry.

  • HearForm recreates and posts the entire invoice in QuickBooks

  • Line Items are transferred

  • Check Number is transferred

  • QuickBooks sends back the QB invoice number to HearForm

ELECTRONIC CLAIMS

Our competitors were faced with the same challenge that we faced. How do we allow our customers to process claims automatically and yet allow them flexibility and still keep our software affordable?

Most of our competitors chose WebMD as the clearinghouse of choice. That's not a bad choice, as WebMD is the most popular clearinghouse in the US. HearForm goes a step further, by allowing you to choose the clearinghouse of your choice. We have partnered with http://www.ezclaim.com , a HIPAA compliant solution, for your Electronic Billing needs.

"Timesaving software stores all patient information, frequently used codes, and AutoFill libraries allowing the 1500 form to be completed and printed in just a few clicks of the mouse. I have 5,000 patient records in my current OMS program. Can I transfer the patients' Data into HearForm?

 

If you are able to export your patient demographics into a text or database file, we can include your patient data. We would charge an additional $300-$500 for this service depending on how difficult it is. In most cases we can import the majority of your data. We will let you know if you call us first. Some competitive software allows you to export your data easily. (HearForm exports with the click of one button.) It is best to call us with your particular situation. We have made many upgrades where ALL of the data was saved and transferred into the friendly format environment of HearForm.

Each system is different. It is common that the financial data from one database CANNOT be accurately converted into another database. While we can save the vast majority of your data (Names, addresses, telephone, manufacturer, make model, serial, warranty dates, etc..., it is likely that we cannot retrieve your account receivables. Starkey ProHear converted customers typically print out their balance due invoices and take a short time to renter those into HearForm's invoicing system.

We can save chart notes from most all conversions.
