Incidence of Hearing Loss

 
More than 24 million people in the United States have a significant loss of hearing.
Approximately 40% of the hearing impaired are under the age of 65.
The older one becomes, the greater the incidence.

15% of college graduates have a level of hearing loss equal to or greater than their parents.

12 million people in the United States have hearing aids.
Of the 12 million who have hearing aids, only 6 million actually wear their hearing aids 8 hours a day, 7 days a week.
